LINE-X locations across the country continue to generate outstanding press coverage at the local level!

Congratulations to Jeannie Keen, of LINE-X of the Roanoke Valley (Roanoke, VA), who was featured on WDBJ7 TV this month. Tossing a cinder block from a roof top usually means a shattering experience - for the block, that is. This time, however, the block was coated with LINE-X XS-350 to once again demonstrate the properties of this revolutionary material. This "roof drop test" has been repeated many times by the press all around the nation, following FOX TV's investigative last fall that started a new wave of media interest in our blast mitigation tests conducted in 2004 at New Mexico Tech’s Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center (EMRTC).

This time, Jeannie hosted the drop demo at her location for the WDBJ7 news crew. The segment showed how LINE-X blast-resistant coatings are now being used by the Department of Defense as a national security tool, but tied it back to our core business of providing great protection for pickup truck bedliners. WDBJ7 Reporter Natasha Ryan took things a step further by mentioning that meat packing plants are also using LINE-X, to help keep bacteria from getting into cracks in the walls and floors.

All in all, a great example of how to leverage press coverage at the local level to get your name and business out in the community!
